What is the Sheriff’s Star Club?
The Sheriff’s Star Club is the Westio VIP programme. Instead of a hidden invite list, it’s a ranked ladder that every UK player joins automatically when they register. You start as a Drifter and earn points from real-money play. As your points grow you pin on a bigger star: Deputy, Marshal, Sheriff and, for a select few, Legend.
The perks are practical rather than flashy: better cashback, faster withdrawals, birthday free spins and, from Sheriff upwards, a personal account manager. None of them are a reason to gamble more, and we’ll come back to that below.

The five Westio VIP ranks
| Rank | How you get there | Key perks |
|---|---|---|
| Drifter | Automatic on registration | 10% weekly cashback, tournaments, standard promotions |
| Deputy | Earn points from real-money play | Improved cashback, birthday free spins |
| Marshal | More points over time | Higher cashback, faster withdrawal processing |
| Sheriff | Sustained play | Personal account manager, higher withdrawal limits, faster processing |
| Legend | Invitation only | Top cashback up to 15%, priority treatment, tailored rewards |
The exact points thresholds and the cashback percentage for each rank are shown in your account under the VIP section. Westio can update them, so check there rather than relying on a screenshot from a forum.
Westio VIP perks in detail
Cashback up to 15%
Every Westio player already gets 10% weekly cashback up to £250 on net casino losses, paid each Monday as cash with no wagering. As you climb the Sheriff’s Star Club ranks, the percentage increases, up to 15% at the top. Our promotions guide explains how the standard cashback is worked out.
Faster withdrawals and higher limits
Standard Westio withdrawals are approved internally within about 24 hours, often faster, and e-wallets then usually pay within 2 hours. Higher ranks move up the processing queue. From Sheriff upwards, the standard limits of £5,000 a day and £20,000 a month can be raised. Our withdrawals guide covers timings for each method.
Birthday free spins
Westio adds free spins around your birthday once you’ve reached the qualifying rank. Any winnings follow the usual UK rule of no more than 10x wagering.
Personal account manager
Sheriff and Legend members get a named account manager. That’s useful for practical things: chasing a withdrawal, clarifying promotion terms or adjusting limits. A good account manager should also be someone who checks in when your play changes, not just when it drops.
How to rank up in the Sheriff’s Star Club
Points come from real-money play. Slots usually earn points fastest, while live casino, table games and sports bets may earn at different rates. Bonus funds generally don’t count until they become real money.
- Register and verify your Westio account; you start at Drifter automatically. See our registration guide.
- Play as you normally would. Points build up in the VIP section of your account.
- Check your progress bar to see how far you are from the next rank.
- Opt into tournaments if you enjoy them; that play also earns points. Our tournaments guide explains the formats.
- At Sheriff, Westio contacts you to introduce your account manager.
- Legend is by invitation only and can’t be reached by points alone.
iPoints are a by-product, not a target
Rank progress is a record of how much you’ve already played. If you notice yourself depositing to reach the next star, that’s a signal to pause, not to push on.How Westio VIP compares with standard rewards
Much of what makes Westio attractive is available from day one, so it helps to separate what every player gets from what the Sheriff’s Star Club adds on top.
| Reward | All players | Higher VIP ranks |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly cashback | 10% up to £250, cash, no wagering | Rises with rank, up to 15% |
| Withdrawal processing | Usually within 24 hours | Prioritised, faster processing |
| Withdrawal limits | £5,000 a day, £20,000 a month | Higher from Sheriff upwards |
| Tournaments | High Noon Daily, Gold Rush Weekly, Frontier Cup | Same events, same rules |
| Weekly promotions | Saddlebag Wallet Boost, Sundown Free Spins | Same offers, plus tailored rewards |
| Support | 24/7 live chat | Personal account manager from Sheriff |
In short, the VIP layer is about speed, convenience and a slightly better cashback rate. It doesn’t change the wagering rules, which stay at a maximum of 10x on UK accounts, and it doesn’t unlock features banned in Great Britain, such as bonus buys or higher stakes. The £5 per spin limit on slots applies to every rank, and it’s £2 per spin for players aged 18–24, whatever star they hold.
What a good VIP manager should and shouldn’t do
A personal account manager is there to make your Westio account run smoothly. Reasonable things to expect include help with document uploads, a heads-up on upcoming promotions and quick answers on withdrawals.
What you shouldn’t see is pressure. A manager shouldn’t encourage you to raise limits, offer bonuses to bring you back after you’ve said you want a break, or discourage you from using a time-out. UK rules tightened VIP practices for exactly this reason. If you ever feel uncomfortable, ask to switch off VIP contact; you keep your rank either way.
Affordability checks still apply at every rank
UK rules require Westio to make sure your gambling is affordable, and that obligation doesn’t disappear because you hold a Sheriff’s badge. If anything, higher activity makes checks more likely. Expect requests for Source of Funds or affordability documents, such as recent payslips, bank statements or a P60.
Upload them in Account → Verification. Reviews usually take 24–48 hours. Our KYC verification guide lists what’s accepted and the common reasons documents are rejected.
A personal account manager can’t waive these checks, and you shouldn’t be offered incentives to play more than you can comfortably afford. If that happens, you can raise it through Westio’s complaints process and, if needed, with IBAS.
Is the Westio VIP programme worth it?
For regular players, the Sheriff’s Star Club adds real value through cashback without wagering and quicker withdrawals. For casual players, Drifter already gets the 10% weekly cashback, tournaments and the full promotions calendar, so there’s no need to chase ranks.
| Player type | What you’ll notice | Our view |
|---|---|---|
| Casual, a few sessions a month | Drifter perks and weekly cashback | Plenty; ignore the ladder |
| Regular weekly player | Deputy or Marshal perks over time | Faster withdrawals are a nice extra |
| High-volume player | Sheriff perks, account manager | Expect affordability checks; keep limits in place |

Questions players ask
How do I join the Westio VIP programme?
+
Every registered Westio player starts at Drifter, the first rank of the Sheriff's Star Club. You move up by earning points from real-money play, and the top rank, Legend, is by invitation only.
What cashback do Westio VIPs get?
+
Cashback rises with your rank, up to 15% at the higher levels. All players already get 10% weekly cashback up to £250 on net casino losses, paid as cash with no wagering.
Does VIP status speed up Westio withdrawals?
+
Higher ranks get faster withdrawal processing, and Sheriff level and above also get higher withdrawal limits. Verification and affordability checks still apply, so keep your documents up to date.
Can I lose my Westio VIP rank?
+
Loyalty programmes usually review ranks based on recent activity, so check the current Sheriff's Star Club terms in your account. You should never play more just to hold onto a rank.
Do affordability checks apply to VIP players?
+
Yes. UK rules require Westio to check that your gambling is affordable, and VIP status doesn't change that. You may be asked for payslips, bank statements or a P60 as your activity grows.
